Version 2026-08-18 — applies to the Sonsei website and waitlist.
Who is responsible
Sonsei is operated by Future Dynamic, The Netherlands (the data controller), trading as Jonorah. Questions and requests: privacy@sonseiaudio.com.
What we store when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your answer to “how did you hear about us?”.
- Your referral code, and — if a friend invited you — the code that referred you.
- Campaign tags (UTM parameters) that were on the link you arrived through, if any.
- When you joined, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to.
That is the whole record. We use it for exactly what the form says: emailing you about your spot and the launch, and understanding which channels producers find us through.
What we store when you redeem a code
If you bought Sonsei from a shop and redeem your code here, we record the email address you gave, which licence it was exchanged for, and when. That record is what lets us send the file again if you lose it; we don’t email you anything else off the back of it, and there is no account behind it. The licence file itself is not tied to your address.
What we deliberately don’t do
- No cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting — nothing is stored on your device.
- Site analytics are cookieless and aggregate: our own server forwards anonymised events (a one-way hash — we cannot recover who you are from it) to PostHog, hosted in the EU.
- We never sell or share the list. Emails are sent through Resend, our email processor.
How long, and your rights
We keep waitlist entries until launch and at most 12 months after, then delete the list. Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link — unsubscribing stops all mail immediately. You can also ask us to delete your entry entirely, or ask what we hold about you: mail privacy@sonseiaudio.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll handle it within 30 days. You have the right to complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch data-protection authority).
